Like every early stage founder, I’ve been obsessively refreshing my dashboard lately. I recently launched a lightweight Instagram automation app (it basically auto-replies to comments and DMs so creators and businesses don't let warm leads slip away). Over the last few days, I was super excited to see a handful of new users sign up. But then reality hit, most of the people who created an account didn't even start using it, just total ghost town. And out of the few who actually set it up, absolutely nobody was pulling out their credit card, everyone was just sitting comfortably on my free tier, which gives you 100 free automations to test the waters (and hopefully convert). But then I noticed one specific user! Unlike the others, he was actually putting the tool to work as I watched his usage tick up in the database...10, 30, and then he hit 65 automations.
