when i started i thought if things look good people will trust me so i kept working on website deck copy changing small things again and again felt like i was doing something useful but honestly nothing happened no one really replied no customers then randomly one guy i knew sent me to his friend just like that no pitch nothing and that worked that one convo was better than everything i did before made me realise something simple people dont trust you in the beginning they trust other people so if someone they trust sends them to you you already have a chance after that i stopped overthinking things just did small stuff asked a couple people i helped to write 1-2 lines tried getting warm intros instead of spamming spoke more clearly about one problem instead of saying big things still early still figuring it out but this worked way more than trying to look “professional” curious if others went through this too what actually worked for you in the ...
