I used to think influencer marketing was mostly for B2C fashion, fitness, lifestyle, etc. But recently I started noticing a few SaaS companies experimenting with it in a different way, and it made me rethink things a bit. Instead of big influencers, they seem to be working with smaller niche creators like dev focused YouTubers, productivity creators, or even people breaking down tools on Twitter/X. The interesting part is that the content doesn’t feel like ads, it’s more like here’s how I actually use this tool. I discover a few discussions one even referencing something Trifid Media around where the idea was less about reach and more about trust + context. That part stuck with me. Still trying to figure out if this is scalable or just situational. For those building in SaaS have you tested anything like this, or does paid acquisition still outperform everything else for you?
