I've been building something that scans ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini with buying questions in various SaaS categories. Just sharing some findings because I think more founders should be aware of this. When someone asks "what's the best [X] tool for [Y]" — the AI gives a definitive answer. And for most smaller SaaS products, that answer is your competitor. Some things I've seen scanning ~40 products: - Products with $16M raised that score 0/10 across all four AI models for their core category - Products with 31K GitHub stars that ChatGPT has never heard of - Products being described using their competitor's feature set - A $630K ARR product that's invisible on generic buying queries Fortune just published that Google's AI Overviews is 44% more likely to show negative info about brands than ChatGPT. This problem is only getting worse. Is anyone else tracking this? What's your approach?
